Race for Education 2015

Mr. Jamey Turner performed for the students during an Art & Music assembly on October 9, 2015. It was terrific to see "instruments" creating music, that are not usually found in a band.

Mr. Turner has performed at the Kennedy Center and Disney World, on the Tonight Show, and with the National Symphony Orchestra among other venues.  CCS was blessed to have Mr. Turner come and perform and talk about how music is made.

See You at the Pole

Each year CCS celebrates See You at the Pole.  See You at the Pole is a time when Christian school students gather around the school flagpole and pray for their school.  In public schools, it is a rare thing to have students show up early in the morning to pray, although there are some faithful who do. At CCS, where prayer is a common occurrence, we choose to celebrate the day by gathering the entire school around the flagpole and having prayers for our government and leaders, state and leaders, local leaders, and our school.  Shown below is the beginning of the 2015 celebration with the hoisting of the flag.
